Woodbury, NY, March 21, 2019 — SterlingRisk Insurance, one of the nation’s top independently owned insurance brokerages, has hired Debbie McLaughlin as Program Sales Executive. McLaughlin, a seasoned account executive who has managed a diverse portfolio of products and services across multiple verticals, will conduct market outreach on behalf of SterlingRisk Program Products, including CREPE (real estate umbrella); SMART-U (retail store umbrella); CRAFDE (high limit restaurant umbrella); and FECSA, which focuses on small- to medium-sized entertainment centers. SterlingRisk CEO David Sterling announced McLaughlin’s hiring.
“Debbie brings several decades of senior sales experience to SterlingRisk, including significant positions at Cars.com/Dealer Rater, Newsday, IBM, and Conde Nast,” noted Sterling. “I’m confident she will provide high-level support to our Programs Department as it continues to grow and meet the needs of associations and industry segments nationwide. During her career, McLaughlin has served hundreds of high-profile clients, including American Airlines, Chase Bank and Microsoft. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she currently serves on the Community Advisory Council of St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center and was active on both the Optimum Healthcare Advisory Board and Friends of OHEKA Advisory Board, which raises funds for children’s scholarships, tours and community events. She is also a past member of MADD.
McLaughlin, who attended Adelphi University, resides in Nissequogue, New York.
