Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement that encourages people and organizations to support meaningful causes. It began in 2012 as a collaboration between the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation, created to inspire generosity on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It has since grown into a worldwide initiative that engages millions each year (Source: GivingTuesday.org).
At SterlingRisk, giving back is part of who we are. Through our year-long #SterlingRiskGivesBack initiative, our team supports nonprofit partners that strengthen the communities where we live and work. Giving Tuesday offers a moment to reflect on that commitment and recognize the organizations we were proud to support throughout the year.
Our contributions and volunteer efforts supported a broad range of missions, including food assistance, health and wellness, family and disability services, behavioral health support, educational opportunities, community renewal, youth development, arts programming, and nonprofit recognition. This year, SterlingRisk supported:
- ACLD Foundation
- American Heart Association

Each organization plays an important role in supporting food security, providing health and behavioral health services, expanding education and youth programs, strengthening families, uplifting individuals with specialized needs, and promoting arts and community engagement. Together they reflect the values that drive our efforts: dignity, support, opportunity, and community impact.
We are honored to stand behind their missions and grateful for the work they carry out every day. Giving Tuesday is a reminder of the value of service, but the impact of these organizations continues year-round, and we are proud to support it.
