Woodbury, NY, November 10, 2015 — SterlingRisk Insurance is pleased to announce that Marci Waterman has been appointed to the role of Chief Administrative Officer. Waterman will oversee the agency’s Commercial Lines, Small Business Group, Personal Lines and Sales team. She is charged with leading the initiative to transform operational efficiencies and to institute innovative processes and procedures across the organization. Ms. Waterman will continue in her role as Managing Director of Sterling Analytics where she oversees the annual analysis of over a billion dollars in legal invoices. “As SterlingRisk continues to grow, Marci’s expert leadership, team building, organization and administration skills are critical to our success,” said David Sterling, Chairman and CEO.
Ms. Waterman comes to Sterling with 20 years of legal experience. She was a New York City prosecutor and served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn with the Major Narcotics Division. Marci has a decade of felony trial experience and successfully argued in front of the Appellate Division numerous times. On Court TV, Marci was the death penalty sentencing commentator and a contributor to Arthur Miller’s Roundtable.
Marci is the CEO and Principal of Marriage Management, a divorce consulting firm in New York City. She is the Immediate Past President of WIZO NY and serves on numerous charity boards.
Ms. Waterman is a Phi Kappa Beta graduate of Binghamton University and received her J.D. with distinction from Brooklyn Law School.
