FORTUNE workplace honor follows Great Place to Work® recertification for the Woodbury, New York-based national insurance brokerage.

The FORTUNE honor follows last month’s Great Place to Work® recertification, received after SterlingRisk participated in a comprehensive review process to qualify for the sought-after workplace designation. Since its start in 1992, Great Place to Work has surveyed more than 100 million employees and used those insights to define what makes a great workplace.

The recent Great Place to Work results revealed that 93 percent of surveyed employees view SterlingRisk as a great place to work. Conversely, the US national average is only 57 percent for employees who view their company as a great place to work. The survey also found that 96 percent of SterlingRisk employees agreed with the statement, “When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome.”
