FORTUNE workplace honor follows Great Place to Work® recertification for the Woodbury, New York-based national brokerage.
Woodbury, NY, July 15, 2021 — SterlingRisk Insurance (Woodbury, NY) has been named to the prestigious FORTUNE® Best Workplaces in New York 2021 list honoring the 100 Best Workplaces in New York. According to FORTUNE, Best Workplaces in New York represents “the ultimate roundup of companies that New Yorkers want to work for” and is considered “the report card on the companies that are winning the game of attracting fresh young talent!” The FORTUNE honor follows last month’s Great Place to Work® recertification for SterlingRisk after participating in a comprehensive review process to qualify for the sought-after workplace designation. Since its start in 1992, Great Place to Work has surveyed more than 100 million employees and used those insights to define what makes a great workplace.

The recent Great Place to Work results revealed that more than 90 percent of surveyed employees view SterlingRisk as a great place to work, with 98 percent agreeing with the statement, “When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome.” Conversely, the US national average is only 59 percent for employees who view their company as a great place to work.
