An insurance industry veteran with special expertise serving construction clients, Flaherty possesses a multifaceted background that spans loss control, risk management, property and casualty, surety, and employee benefits.

Flaherty has held various positions within the brokerage community. He joins SterlingRisk from a national insurance broker where he served as Managing Advisor and Regional Construction Team Leader. For more than 20 years prior to entering the insurance industry, Flaherty worked for a family owned and operated construction company.
