Woodbury, NY, October 22, 2025 — SterlingRisk, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerages, has announced the appointment of Steven Wright as Director of Sales. In this newly created role, Wright will lead SterlingRisk’s sales organization with a focus on accelerating growth, expanding market reach, and enhancing producer results.
With more than two decades of insurance and sales leadership experience, Wright has earned a reputation for building and motivating high-performing teams. At SterlingRisk, he will collaborate with producers to reinforce best practices and strengthen the company’s position as an industry leader.

Wright previously served as Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. BrokerConnect at Coface, managing the company’s largest broker partner network and collaborating with global and national brokers. A graduate of Hofstra University, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Wright is widely respected as a sales strategist and mentor, having guided numerous team members to top industry honors, including Presidents’ Clubs and Achievers’ Circles.
