Woodbury, NY, September 15, 2017 — Ian Sterling, Programs Team Leader and Business Development Associate at SterlingRisk Insurance (Woodbury, NY), has been elected to the board of directors of the New York Young Insurance Professionals (NY-YIP), a statewide professional development association affiliated with the Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc. The announcement was made following officer and board elections at NY-YIP’s annual business meeting in Glenmont, New York.
“It’s an honor to serve on the board and I look forward to furthering the goals of the Young Insurance Professionals during my tenure,” stated Sterling. “In particular, my focus will be on developing and nurturing members from Long Island, including serving as chair of the next two annual NY-YIP golf outings.
